Thomas "Tommy" Duane Stout, Sr.

Thomas “Tommy” Duane Stout, Sr., age 57, of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 2, 2022.

Born in Gary, Indiana, on June 29, 1964, “Tommy” devoted his life to being a loving husband, father and grandfather. “Tommy” was a proud, twenty-two year, retired, United States Army Veteran, having served in Operation Desert Storm, as a tank commander and recruiter. “Tommy” continued to serve, by supporting fellow veterans, suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and other conditions, at Coffee County Veterans Administration. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars- Post # 10904. “Tommy” never met a stranger and was always willing to lend anyone the shirt off his back. In his spare time, he enjoyed driving, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. “Tommy” will be missed dearly.

Preceding him in death is his father, Thomas Edward Stout and stepmother, Susan Mae Stout.

Survivors include his wife of forty years, Carolyn Craig-Stout; four sons, Darrel (Kelly) Stout, Lucas Stout, Marcus (Sarah) Stout and Thomas (Kimberly) Stout, Jr.; one daughter, Misty Stout; one brother, Dwayne Stout; two sisters, Christine Hanson and Angie Stout; six grandchildren, Desiree, Tristan, Landon, Aiden, Rhea Eve and Ivie; and a special host of “Veteran Brothers” and Friends.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at Coffee County Funeral Chapel on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at 2PM.

The family will receive visitors, at the funeral home, from 11AM until time of services.
