Mrs. Thelma Jean Green, age 81, of Manchester, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at her residence in Manchester. Mrs. Green was born May 17, 1941, in Manchester, Tennessee, to the late Virgil Thomas and Etha Herren Jones (Robert).
Mrs. Green was a beautician and an assembly line worker at Batesville Casket Company for nearly 30 years. She was a believer in the Christian faith and was a member of Forrest Mill Church of Christ. In her spare time, she enjoyed making jewelry and playing cards with friends at the local senior citizen centers. Prior to her husband's passing, she and Ray enjoyed showing Tennessee Walking Horses.
In addition to her parents, Thelma is preceded in death by her husband, Medford Ray Green; and sister Linda Gaultney. She is survived by daughter Kandace Hullett (Ronnie); step-daughters, Vickie Duggin (Ron), Connie Sissom (Aaron), and Jackie Solomon (Greg); grandchildren, Kelsey Adams (Mark), Cory Duggin (Heather), Taylor Duggin (Lindsey), Alexis Solomon, Blair Bonfini (Nick), Brenda Cooper (Charles), and Drew Larry; greatgrandchildren, Haysten Adams, Brixxon Adams, and Maevri Elle Adams; niece, Penny Lemons (Mark), and their daughter Mandy Bowling (Jeremy) and their children Macin Stacy, Shea Stacy, Zach Bowling, and step-son Zac Lemon; nephew, Clint Gaultney (Taylor), and their daughters Kendra Gaultney and Lydie May Gaultney.
