Steven Michael Gibbs

Mr. Steven Michael Gibbs, age 69, of Manchester, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, June 28th, 2023, in Manchester, TN. Mr. Gibbs was born April 7th, 1954, in Henderson, KY, to the late Mr. Leonard Gibbs and Ivy Gibbs (Cadea).

Prior to his retirement, Steven worked for the Parsley Bro. in construction. He was a believer in the Christian faith. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with family, sitting outside, playing games on his phone, and watching cartoons.

In addition to his parents, Steven is preceded in death by his brothers, Wayne Gibbs and Dallas Gibbs; sisters, Sharron Stone, Janie Gibbs, and Fay Gibbs; and nephew, Willy. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Deborah Gibbs; sons, Leonard Gibbs (Shannon) and Johnny Gibbs (Sheila); daughter, Angela Gibbs (Joshua); grandchildren, Evan, Ellyana, Jasmine, Peanut, Teresa, April, Bobbie, Edward, Joseph, Vickie, and Moriah; great grandchildren, Madalynn, Isabella, and Braxton; brothers, Donnie Gibbs and David Gibbs; nephews, Larry, Randyll, and BJ; nieces, Marie, Heather, Alyssa, Cheryl, Christy, and Brandy; dog, Brutus; and several extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to their account at Coffee County Funeral Chapel.
