Milton "Buck" Antone Yon, Jr.

Milton Antone “Buck” Yon, Jr., age 52, of Beechgrove, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 22, 2021.

Born May 14, 1969, to the late Milton and Shirley Yon, Sr., “Buck” devoted his life to being a loving father, brother and friend to many. As a child, he was an All-American Little League Baseball Player and his passion for the game never ceased, along with shooting pool any chance he got. “Buck” was a very likeable guy, with a great sense of humor and had an incredible way of making others feel protected and comfortable. He enjoyed attempting to “fix” anything and was more than willing to assist others in any manner necessary; “he would give anyone the shirt off his back.” In his spare time, he was an avid knife and watch collector, and loved cooking out for his family and friends. “Buck” was a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church of Nashville, Tennessee, and lifetime member of Caldwell First Nation Turtle Tribe. “Buck’s” infectious laugh and sparkle of his eyes will never be forgotten. He will be missed dearly.

Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence Gratton and Darrell Yon; and two sisters, Cheryl Lynn Werkmeister and Kim Leigh Gratton.

Survivors include his estranged wife of thirty years, Tonia Yon; one son, Milton Antone (Kassandra) Yon, III; one daughter, Kristian (William) Garrison; five brothers, Wayne (Caroline) Gratton, Herbert Gratton, Frank (Susan) Gratton, Chris Yon and Kelly Yon; eight sisters, Donna Faye Gratton, Marilyn Gratton, Brenda McCullough, Debra (Patrick) Cloutier, Hope Ann Yon, Faith Ann (Andrew) Johnson, Laura (Eddie) Fortner and Melissa (Basil) Rouchier; and four grandchildren, Makenna, Ellsie, Amelia and William IV.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be conducted at Coffee County Funeral Chapel on Sunday, October 3, 2021, at 1PM, with Pastor Virgil Alford officiating.

The Family will receive visitors, at the funeral home, from 11AM until time of service.
