Funeral services for Mrs. Loyce Marie Gilley, age 84, of Manchester will be conducted at 2:00PM on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until the time of the service at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Gilley passed from this life on Friday, May 7, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her family.
Loyce was born on January 22, 1937, in Hillsboro to the late Walter and Queen Sullivan. She enjoyed working in her flowerbeds, vegetable garden and canning. Loyce also enjoyed getting on the tractor and mowing her yard. She will be remembered as the most loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother.
In an addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of almost 50 years, Jimmy Wayne; two brothers, Fred Sullivan and James Sullivan; twin sister, Joyce Harrell. She is survived by three sons, Jerry (Beth) Gilley, Jesse (Kathryn) Gilley and Leonard (Kathy) Gilley; seven grandchildren, Graham (Anne Marie) Gilley, Sarah Gilley, Daniel Gilley, Brian Gilley, Tish (Jay) Hollowell, Chris Gilley and Brittany Gilley; five great-grandchildren, Caden Hall, Hayden Gilley, Maggie Hollowell, Myles Hollowell and Adalyn Smith; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
