Linda Sue Jackson, age 86, of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away following a long term illness, on Monday, February 28, 2022, in the comfort of her home and surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Summittville, Tennessee, on September 8, 1935, to the late Harold and Irene Jackson, Linda devoted her life to being a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and entrepreneur. Linda had owned and operated a variety of local businesses in Coffee County, but devoted thirty five years to being the owner and operator of The Cumberland Motel in Manchester, Tennessee. She was a fifty-year Member of The Eastern Star- Hillsboro and founding member of the Daughters of American Revolution- Calvin C. Brewer Chapter, of Manchester, Tennessee. Linda enjoyed playing piano, watching classic Hollywood films and gardening. Linda will be missed dearly by her loving family and friends.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by two husbands, Jack Brothers and Curtis Cravens and one brother, Keith Jackson.
Survivors include her one and only child, Tammie Walker; four grandchildren, Joshua Jackson- Moore, Jannah (Joe) Umbarger, Warren G. Walker and Joseph Walker and two great grandchildren, Jospeh Greyson Umbarger and James Gavin Umbarger.
A Private Family Burial is scheduled for the near future, at Summittville Cemetery, in Summittville, Tennessee.
