Jesse “Jade” Anderson, age 73, of Manchester, Tennessee passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Born July 11, 1948, to the late Jack Otis Anderson and Margaret “Peggy” Caffrey, Jesse had devoted his life to being a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a six-year United States Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. A self-taught musician, he loved playing guitar and singing. He was the founding member of “The Jesse Anderson Band” for over twenty years and “The Jade Anderson Band” for over fifteen years. Referred to a “a jack of all trades and master of none", when he was not traveling across country fulfilling his musical talents, he enjoyed “tinkering” with things around his home. Jesse proven to be loyal and dependable to his loving family and friends and will surely be missed.
Other than his parents, preceding him in death are his grandparents Joseph and Margaret Soffia Caffrey; one brother, Charles Raper and two sisters, Joyce Rose and Barbara Wright.
Survivors include his loving wife of over thirty years, Joyce Anderson; three sons, “J.J.” (Joy) Caffrey, Tommy (Brenda) Lawson and Jason (Lana) Frakes; four daughters, Shelby Anderson, Brandi Durham, Jennifer Grubb and Brenda Anderson; two sisters, Shelby Anderson-Willer and Janye Lawson; twenty-five grandchildren; special granddaughter, Josie Frakes and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Coffee County Funeral Chapel on Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 4-8PM.
Funeral services will be held, at the Funeral Home, on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at 2PM.
Interment to immediately follow at Blanton’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
