Edgar “Moe” Walden, age 77, of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2022.
A Manchester, Tennessee Native, born February 5, 1944, to the late Phillip and Jetta Walden, “Moe” devoted his life to being a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. Of the protestant faith, he regularly attended church at Church of God Prophecy of Tullahoma, Tennessee for over thirty years. With a self-described “dangerous” side, he enjoyed snowmobiles, cycling, hunting, fishing and boating in his spare time and liked county and old rock-n-roll music. “Moe” will surely be missed by his loving family and friends.
Other than his parents, preceding him death, is his wife of ten years, Eva Walden; one son, Bradford Phillip Walden; two sisters, Ruby Scurlock and Jeannie Walden; and two nephews, Jimmie Pickens and Larry Pickens.
Survivors include, one stepdaughter, Michelle Henry; two sisters, Wilma (David) Pickens and Linda Martinez; special family Tracie (Thomas) Davis and Michelle (Jordyn) Besheres; his grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of special friends.
Visitation will be held at Coffee County Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, from 11AM-1PM.
Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home, at 1PM, with Brother Pritchett officiating.
Interment to immediately follow at Ragsdale Cemetery.
