Cody Chadwick Floyd

Cody Chadwick Floyd, age 22, of Hillsboro, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on November 17, 2022, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Born in Austell, Georgia, on January 10, 2000, to Chadwick Floyd and Melissa Fine. Cody was employed at Premier Service Contractor in Manchester. He was a practical jokester with a generous heart of gold.  Cody enjoyed racing, spending time at the lake or mountains, going on road trips with friends, tinkering with his truck, and most importantly spending time with his beloved daughter and his family.

He is survived by his parents, Chadwick Floyd and Melissa Fine; daughter, Braelynn Floyd; brother, Bryce Helmick; grandmother, Brenda Dowden (Bud) and Jeannie Barnum (Richard); grandfather, Lawrence Floyd and David Dallen (Isabela); great grandmother, Billie Dell Floyd and Linda Walden; aunts, Brandi Spencer (Clinton) and Vickie Patterson (Joe); uncles, Bobo Floyd and Terry Walden; cousins, Zackery Stacy and Oliva Spencer; special friends, Darrell Cornelison, Mark Patton, Kendal Layne (Lorie); best friends, Caitlin Talbert and Donnavon Phillips; and Amanda Clouse who was like a mother to him.

Visitation with the family will be held at Coffee County Funeral Chapel on, Saturday, November 19, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
