Obituary

Catherine “Cathy” Grubbs, age 82, formerly of Tullahoma, Tennessee, passed away following a long-term illness, on Saturday, March 5, 2022.

Born in Clinton, Indiana, on April 26, 1939, to the late Alex and Pearl Thomas, “Cathy” devoted her life to being a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. A very private person, “Cathy” loved just being with her family and having fun, she especially enjoyed family gatherings and making others feel welcomed. She loved to sing and dance and playing BINGO with her friends. “Cathy” will be missed dearly by her loving family and friends.

Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Fred Lowden and Alex “Mick” Thomas; one granddaughter, Jacqueline Brown and her step father, Danny Danavich.

Survivors include her beloved husband of fifty six years, Connell “Jack” Grubbs; one son, Shannon (Ruthie) Grubbs; four daughters, Pamela (Ricky) Brown, Vicky (Steve) Jones, Rhonda (Jeff) Tomich and Rebecca (Phillip) Heath; two sisters, Mary Jane (Tom) Straubel and Betty Lou Burk; ten grandchildren, Amanda (Daniel) Wood, Miranda Grubbs, Jackson Grubbs, Clay Campbell, Carly Campbell, Keegan Grubbs, Nichole Torres, Alison (Dalton) Hawks, Thomas Harley and Hayden Hunter Heath; and five great grandchildren, Alexandria, Madison, Zander, Aurora, and Braylee
