Graveside services for Ms. Daphne Jean Garrett, age 73 of McMinnville were held Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 4:00 PM at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens with Mr. Foy Rigney officiating. Ms. Garrett passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at her residence.

She was born December 7, 1936 in Woodbury, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Herbert Lee and Clatie Bush Lewis. In earlier years, she was employed with Riverpark Hospital in McMinnville as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Herbert Lewis, Jr.

Survivors include one daughter, Chandra Martin and her husband, Ray of McMinnville; three grandchildren, Luke Martin, Lake Martin, and Luca Raine Martin all of McMinnville; brother, Doyle Lewis of Manchester; two sisters, Dorothy Powell of Manchester, and Dalah Jones of Manchester.
