Mr. William Morgan Smith passed away Friday, January 29, 2010 at Medical Center of Manchester. He was born February 2, 1934 in Nashville the son of the late Emmett and Evie Lena Brown Smith. Mr. Smith will be fondly remembered forever in our hearts as a devoted husband, father and friend. He served in the Air Force and was also a Technician at ARO for many years.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son William Patrick Smith; daughter, Kathy Lynn Smith; brother, Edwin Don Smith and man’s best friend, his beloved Taco.
Survivors include his wife Edna Jernigan Smith, Manchester, daughters, Debra Jean (Jerry) Self, Tullahoma, Tina Delina (David) Hodge, Manchester, Kimberly Rochelle (Christopher) Farris, Warner Robins, GA, brothers Emmett Wayne Smith, Nashville, Emmett C. Smith Jr., Smyrna, sister Wylene Albright, eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
There will be a visitation with the family from 5:30 until 9:00 O’clock Tuesday evening at Coffee County Funeral Chapel.
