Funeral services for Jerry Leon “Pa” Qualls, age 57 of Normandy will be conducted at 2pm, Friday, October 17 at the Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Bro. Horace Lee Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow in the Gnat Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the Qualls family will be from 2pm until 8pm, Thursday at CoffeeCounty Funeral Chapel. Mr. Qualls passed away Tuesday evening at VanderbiltHospital
Mr. Qualls was born in Coffee County, Tennessee the son of the late Ralph And Hazel Anthony Qualls. He retired from Batesville Casket Company as a garage mechanic after 29 years of service and attended the Church of Christ. He loved to fish, cook and watch sports, and was a member of the CoffeeCounty Rescue Squad. Jerry would have celebrated his 25th wedding anniversary October 29 with his wife, Mrs. Dot Qualls. Jerry and Dot opened the J & D Qualls Wrecker Service on August 21, 2003. One of Jerry’s favorite things to do was driving and operating his wrecker. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by 2 brothers in law, Don Floyd and James “Jake” Jacobs. His survivors are:

1 daughter- Lucretia Keele of Manchester
2 brothers- Albert “A.D” Qualls & his wife Yvonne of Skymont, Tn
                   Clayton Marshall Qualls & his wife Sue of Manchester
6 sisters- Vinita (Phillip) Anderson of Manchester
                Willadean (Charles “Buck”) Richardson of Manchester
                Dorothy (Ronnie) Freeze of Manchester
                 Rennita Floyd of Manchester
                 Kathryn (Sandy) Chappelow of Flat Rock, IN
                 Imogene (Shelby) Purdue of Marietta, IN
Brothers In Law- Horace Lee (Carolyn) Jacobs of Lynchbug
                               Sammy (Lisa) Jacobs of Shelbyville
